This training will help clinicians develop skills and knowledge in the treatment of PMADs and will cover: · Cultivating intentionality and cultural humility · Prevalence of and risk factors for PMADs · PMAD assessment, screening tools, and considerations · Trauma Tx and PMADs (PE, CPT, STAIR, NST, EMDR) · OCD, Bipolar Disorder, and Psychosis in the perinatal time · Evidence-based treatment modalities and clinical nuggets (DBT, CBT, Conjoint, IPT, ACT) · Understanding suicidality during the perinatal time · Psychiatric care, psychopharmacology, and tools for coordination of care · Breast/Chest feeding considerations Presenter Elizabeth Wilkins-McKee is a Certified Reproduction Mental Health Provider, Certified in treatment of Infant, Child, Adolescent and Family Therapy, PSVA Board Member and Private Practice Psychotherapist Presenter Mandolin Restivo is the Acting Executive Director of PSVa, Birth and Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, Sex Educatior, DV/SA Crisis Intervention Counselor This training has been approved by the NASW – Virginia Chapter for 7 Category I Continuing Education Contact Hours.
