Megan will share insights into treating birth traumas from a somatic approach, drawing from personal experiences and case studies from her practice. Her presentation will provide an overview of EMDR and birth traumas, and discuss how somatic therapies are essential to helping impacted individuals to heal. About Megan MacCutcheon, LPC PMH-C: Megan MacCutcheon is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health therapist who loves helping moms navigate stress & mood/anxiety disorders during pregnancy and postpartum. She is passionate about helping women build confidence in motherhood and has expertise in resolving birth traumas using EMDR. She is the owner of Be Well - Wellness, LLC, a group private practice offering in-person and virtual services in Virginia. She is also the co-founder of Perinatal Place, LLC and Be Hive Wellness, a collaborative space for families to receive holistic support from a variety of like-minded providers.
